A-Day Family Fun Run for Horizons

Why not begin our 40th A-Day with the way the first one began in 1979. The first A-Day kicked off with the Jubilee Association Run. HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, the College’s official Visitor, was on campus to meet students and alumni and hand out the race awards.

Fast forward to 2019 and we will once again start A-Day with a fun race. The 3 km course will be marked out on campus and will finish on the Oval. Richard Sadleir, who was Principal in 1979, will be our touch of royalty and hand out awards during A-Day’s Opening Ceremonies.

Race entry fee ($10/runner) will support Horizons, the College’s signature service program, which links kids from disadvantaged schools to UCC boys and resources. Coincidentally, this year is Horizon’s 20th Anniversary.

Race will start at 8:00 a.m. sharp (with on the day registration open from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m.). Race registration is now open.
